McCleary Solar Array Project

The City of McCleary is excited to propose the installation of a 714.5kW-DC/675kW-AC ground mount fixed tilt solar array project to bolster our local utility infrastructure on an 8.3 acre parcel of unused land the City owns. Currently reliant on power sourced from the BPA, our community faces challenges regarding the reliability of external resources. In our remote location, ensuring consistent access to electricity is paramount. By supplementing our portfolio with locally generated power, we aim to fortify our resilience and achieve greater electric independence. Moreover, investing in solar energy aligns with our steadfast commitment to fostering a more sustainable future for our region.
